This Is Not a Court or Government Office. We cannot retrieve a docket, issue a certified copy, reset a court date, change a case, accept a payment, or give legal advice. Contact the Clerk, assigned court, JP, or Sheriff service directly.
Need an Official Docket or Record?
Start with the court named on the case papers. A 29th JDC civil, criminal, juvenile, family, probate, or appealed JP filing is held by the St. Charles Parish Clerk of Court. A JP file remains with the relevant JP district unless it was appealed. A Sheriff payment record is not the district-court docket.
- 29th JDC docket or court record: use the Clerk’s Public Records Search or contact the Clerk directly.
- Certified, conformed, or plain copies: ask the Clerk for the product needed and provide the case number, caption, division, and document details.
- A court setting: check the court calendar route, then confirm with the assigned division or Clerk.
- A justice-of-the-peace case: use the parish’s JP directory and the court named on the papers.
- Traffic payment or fine question: use the Sheriff’s Bonds and Fines office. Payment status is separate from a docket request.
